A one-person web design studio working with businesses across Lisburn, Belfast and the rest of Northern Ireland.
I design and build websites for the kind of business that lives or dies on being found and being called. If a customer's first impression of you happens on a phone screen, that screen is worth taking seriously.
Every site I make is designed from scratch, written in the owner's own voice, and built to load fast on the phones their customers are actually holding. No themes, no page builders, and no template with a logo dropped into it.
Most of the businesses I work with are the kind where the phone ringing is the whole business: someone is on a job all day, the website has to do the convincing on its own, and a missed enquiry is a missed week's work. That shapes everything about how these sites are put together, from the size of the call button to how quickly the first photograph appears on a bad mobile connection.
There is no account manager, no ticketing system and no handover. I answer the phone, I design the site, and that is the whole point.
What I
actually do
Four things, done properly, by the person you talked to on the phone.
Design
A site that looks like your business on its best day, rather than a template with your logo dropped in. Type, colour and photography are chosen for your business and your customers, and sampled from your real work wherever I can.
Build
Built lean, without page-builder bloat. Sites load in under a second on a mid-range phone on a bad connection, because that's where your customers actually are. Every animation runs at 60fps or it doesn't ship.
Words
I write the copy: headlines that sound like you, proof laid out where it convinces, and a clear ask on every page. Most agencies hand you a blank Word document. I consider the words part of the build.
Being found
Structured for local search from the first line of code, with real place names, real services and honest reviews marked up so Google can read them. The fundamentals done right, without a retainer attached.
How it
works
The whole job runs online, so where you are makes no difference to what you get.
Everything happens by phone, email and WhatsApp. You send me photos of your work and the details of what you do, I send you the site to look at as it takes shape, and you tell me what to change. There is no meeting to take a morning off for and no portal to log into.
I’m based just outside Lisburn and a lot of the work so far has been for businesses around Lisburn and Belfast, but nothing about the process depends on being nearby. The build, the writing and the local search setup are identical whether you are ten minutes down the road or the other end of the country.
If it helps to meet in person and you are close enough, that is easy to arrange. It is just never a requirement.

How much does a website cost in Northern Ireland?
Every site is quoted individually, because a single page for a sole trader and a multi-page site with a gallery and separate area pages are different jobs. You get a fixed price in writing before anything starts, so there is no hourly billing and no surprise invoice at the end. The two standard shapes and what they cost are set out on the pricing page.
Do you build websites outside Lisburn?
Yes. I’m based just outside Lisburn and much of the work so far has been around Lisburn and Belfast, but the whole job runs by phone, email and WhatsApp, so where you are makes no difference. Anywhere in Northern Ireland, the rest of the UK or further afield works exactly the same way.
Do you use WordPress, Wix or Squarespace?
No. Every site is written from scratch rather than assembled from a theme or a page builder. That keeps them fast, keeps the code small, and means the design is built around your business instead of your business being squeezed into a template.
Will I own the website?
Yes, outright. The site, the domain and every file belong to you, and you can take them to another designer or another host whenever you like. Nothing is locked to me.
Do you do SEO as well?
The fundamentals are built in rather than sold separately: real place names and services in the page structure, proper local business markup so Google can read your details, fast loading on a phone, and reviews marked up where you have them. That is what gets a local business found. I don’t sell monthly SEO retainers.
I already have a website. Can you improve it instead?
Often, yes, and sometimes that is the better answer. If the branding is working and only the site is letting you down, a rebuild that keeps what customers already recognise is usually cheaper and less disruptive than starting again.
How long does a website take?
The build itself is rarely the slow part. What sets the pace is how quickly you can get me photos of your work, your details and any reviews. Get those to me early and things move quickly.
